We accept the following insurance plans for acupuncture: 

  • Regence/Anthem/BlueCross BlueShield  

  • Providence

  • United Healthcare 

  • UMR

  • Pacific Source 

  • Aetna

  • Motor Vehicle Accidents and Workers Comp.

If we are not in-network with your insurance policy, we can supply you with a superbill for potential reimbursement from your insurance company. We do accept HSA/FSA.

Unfortunately, at the time, we are not in-network with any OHP, Medicare or Medicare advantage plans.

We do not bill health insurance for functional medicine but you may use your HSA/FSA.

Once you schedule your initial visit, we will check your benefits for you, however it is the patient's responsibility to know and keep track of their own acupuncture benefits.

If we will be billing your insurance, please send a copy of the front and back of your insurance card along with your address and date of birth to info@themendpdx.com.

Please give us 24-48 hours to verify your benefits. Thank you.

Pricing

If you will not be using insurance, we offer a time of service discounted rate:

Acupuncture:

New patient appointments: $150

Existing patient appointments: $110

Functional Medicine:

New Patient appointment: $250

Follow up appointment: $150

Cancellation Policy

Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed appointment leaves a hole in the acupuncturists day that could have been filled by another patient. As such, we require 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Patients who provide less than 24 hours notice, or miss their appointment, will be automatically charged a cancellation fee of $100 as we are unable to bill insurance for missed appointments.

Patients that are more than 15 minutes late are considered a no show and will be charged a cancellation fee.
